In a bizarre crossover event that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A strange encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations resonate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine sect.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Additional Features

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with numerous items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
